On 29th of July (Saturday), participants ought to arrive to the start of the event in New Akmene (L. Petravicius square) by their own means and in time slot allocated according to the chosen route.
Tickets are scanned and starter packs are given once participants arrive to the registration zone. Print outs of the registration confirmations are not necessary since e-versions are accepted.
Starter pack includes:
- control bracelet, which guarantees service at the rest and assistance posts
- participant’s passport with a map, directions and list of contact phone numbers;
- other information and tools related to the walk.
Participants can start the trek right after registration, there is no collective starting.
There will be rest and assistance stops set up along the route*, where participants can be served refreshments, refills of water supplies and receive first aid if necessary.
*number and locations of the rest and assistance stops might change as the event draws nearer.
TRANSPORT IN THE CASE OF CUTTING THE WALK SHORT
Participants wishing to cut their walk short will have to arrive at the nearest leisure and help post by their own means – they will then be returned to the starting/finish line in New Akmene by special transport. Participants who do not finish the trek will receive diplomas noting the number of kilometres walked at the nearest post after presenting their participant’s passports.
Finish line will be located at the starting point of the trek in New Akmene (L. Patraviciaus sq.). Participants who complete full route are the awarded with diplomas and remembrance medals.
